Sterilization

The safety of you or your child are of the utmost importance to us while you are a guest in our office. Our sterilization procedures not only meet, but surpass the requirements provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), The American Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists.

Each patient's individually-wrapped instrument cassettes are first ultrasonically-cleaned in one of our two ultrasonic cleaners (far right). Then, each cassette is rinsed, dried, and individually wrapped before being placed into one of our two state-of-the-art Midmark M-11 steam autoclaves for sterilization. Each individually wrapped cassette (see below) remains un-opened until it is ready for each patient's use.
