Your First Visit

At your first visit a preliminary evaluation of your medical and dental history, along with a clinical examination, will be made. Dr. Trotter will explain what he believes the cause of the orthodontic problem is, and determine if and when treatment should begin.

We may request that you obtain an orthodontic survey to enable us to thoroughly examine the extent of the problem. These records may include impressions, photographs, and complete x-rays of the teeth and the surrounding structures.

For your convenience, all necessary records for the orthodontic survey are taken in our office. From these records we will determine the diagnosis and treatment plan.

Consultation Visit

At this appointment we will present all of the records along with a computerized analysis using the latest imaging technology. We use a system that is designed to give you a visual representation of both the present problem and the estimated future outcome.
